ReCore news is coming in 5 days following leak of “Definitive Edition”

Just days after multiple sources were outing a potential ReCore: Definitive Edition, the game's official Twitter account has announced that there is some news inbound that will come this Sunday, August 20th. It just so happens that August 20th is the same day that Microsoft is set to have an Xbox @ Gamescom 2017 live broadcast so that the announcement might be part of the presentation.

Here's the Tweet:

The ReCore: Definitive Edition is said to feature HDR, High-resolution graphics, and a new mission called "Eye of Obsidian."

ReCore originally released back in September 2016 at the budget price of $40, but unfortunately was subject to disappointing review scores. Long load times and design issues were the main criticisms levied towards the game despite its positive first impression and likable protagonist and game world. It was also the first game to use the Xbox Play Anywhere program, a feature which has since grown in popularity.

Microsoft's Gamescom show starts at 3 PM EST/12 PM PST this Sunday, so check back to GameZone for more details then.
