For the past several months, Indie Game: The Movie has been making its rounds across select movie theaters. Now, the documentary is finally widely available for your viewing pleasure.
Indie Game: The Movie tells the stories of the game developers behind Super Meat Boy, Braid, and Fez. It's an emotional journey, and one that gives deeper insight into this crazy industry we love so very much. GameZone's own Joe Donato had the chance to check out the film on the big screen, and he was so impressed he scored it a stellar five-star rating.
Indie Game: The Movie has won several awards and has earned a ton of praise. I can't emphasize enough how proud I am to be a Kickstarter backer for this wonderfully ambitious project. As a fan of all things indie (especially the games!), I'm really looking forward to watching the movie from start to finish as soon as I get a couple of hours of free time.
You can currently purchase Indie Game: The Movie for $9.99 on Steam, the iTunes App Store, or directly from the filmmakers. Seriously, support this documentary, the wonderful people who took the time to create it, and the incredible indie devs who star in it.
