Hooligans have managed to get away with some pretty foul thievery. Reports on various news outlets indicate that 7,000 Wii U consoles were stolen from a warehouse in Seattle, equaling about $2 million worth of stolen goods.
It's insane to think what the crooks will do with all of those Wii U systems. Maybe they have a large extended family and they needed plenty of holiday gifts to go around. Actually, they'll probably try to sell 'em. In any case, this is some messed up stuff.
Weirdly enough, both the Seattle PI and ABC News reported that it was 7,000 Wiis that were stolen. This is being considered an error by a lot of outlets, and it's more likely that it was indeed 7,000 Wii U consoles that were stolen. Hell, it may be a combination of both!
Honestly, it's hard to imagine anyone stealing a Wii. Aren't those things free these days?
