The chief producer of Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet, Jun Takeuchi, has been around for a while. He knows how gaming PR works and he definitely knows how to tease fans.
In an interview with Famitsu, Takeuchi revealed that there's something coming to the PlayStation 4 – he just won't say what yet.
Takeuchi started off the interview with the basics, saying saying how enthusiastic he was about working with the PS4, then at one point he let it out. He said that his next game would be on the PS4, he even went far enough to say that it would not only surprise us, but also 'turn our heads':
“As far as the quality of the game I’m currently working on goes, I’m sure you all will be surprised…Not only domestically, but we’re making it into something that will turn plenty of heads if we were to release it in the foreign market as well.”
Famitsu also inquired on whether or not Capcom was working on bringing some more than Resident Evil: Revelations 2 to the PS4. The answer was a firm “of course”.
It is unclear on whether or not the upcoming game will be a PS4 exclusive.
