With Resident Evil 7 releasing tomorrow it seems like a bunch of news on the franchise has been surfacing. The latest bit on Resident Evil comes from a modder named 'Rod Lima' who found a way to extract models and animation data from Resident Evil REmake and make the game in first person view.
This first person view doesn't stop and begin with gameplay, it maintains through cutscenes as well and it looks awesome. With the hullabaloo around Resident Evil 7 not really being a Resident Evil 7 game because of the first-person point of view, it's interesting to see the REmake in first person view.
It looks pretty good and that's actually unfortunate because the modder has no intention of releasing the mod.
Meanwhile, Resident Evil 7 has been getting awesome reviews.
