Resident Evil Revelations porting to consoles and PC this May

Capcom, the developer and publisher of the Resident Evil game franchise, confirmed today that Resident Evil Revelations will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC in North America on the May 21st (24th in Europe).

Originally for the 3DS, Resident Evil Revelations is the link between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The game follows Jill Valentine and her new partner Parker Luciani on their search for Chris Redfield. Revelations on the 3DS added a new feature to the game by giving players the ability to swim and fight enemies under water, as well as alternate aiming perspectives.

Luckily enough for us the port will add new features to a game that already had new features! There will be additional content – a new enemy, a harder hard mode, and improved Raid mode. Although, Raid mode was previously featured in Revelations, the console/PC port adds new weapons, skill sets and more characters to play.

If you are as gung ho for the game as I am, you can pre-register at ResidentEvil.net on January 24th to have early access to Resident Evil Revelations themed content and information on events that will be revealed closer to the games launch date.
