Originally set for a spring 2016 release, a new listing from online retailer Amazon France suggests DOOM will now release on all platforms on June 30th. The listing was orgiinally spotted by Twitter user MasterGamer24680 (via IGN).
Of course, it's possible that the date is merely a placeholder or a mistake, but Amazon France has accidentally spilled the beans on release dates in the past. In fact, Amazon France listed that Rise of the Tomb Raider would release at the end of January, which ultimately proved true. I'm not saying this is the case for DOOM, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Bethesda's DOOM marks a return to id Software's demon-slaying first-person shooter franchise, pomising fans "badass demons" and "big effing guns." A gameplay trailer shown at E3 2015 confirmed such anticipated features.
