We already know Ubisoft is planning to release an Assassin's Creed game on Xbox 360 and PS3, but while the developer/publisher plans to release more information "soon," a Swiss gaming retailer might have accidently leaked the game already.
According to a now-removed product listings, the last-gen game will be titled Assassin's Creed: Rogue, and it's set to release on October 28 for Xbox 360 and PS3. That also just so happens to be the same day as Assassin's Creed Unity releases for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Other than the name and date, no other information was revealed; however, if this is the same game as the rumored Assassin's Creed Comet that was leaked earlier this year, then it's believed to be set in 1758 New York and serve as a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. According to those previous leaks, Assassin's Creed Comet, or Rogue, or whatever it's called, stars a character named Shay, who is both a sailor and Templar.
Perhaps Ubisoft is waiting for Gamescom to make an official announcement. Thankfully, we're just a few weeks away.
