Both GameStop and Amazon are offering $50 discounts on the PS3 Super Slim 500GB God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle with God of War Saga. Normally priced at $349.99, you can purchase the entire bundle for $299.99. The price may sound steep — especially with the impending arrival of the PS4 — but the bundle sure does offer a great bang for your buck. It includes a special garnet red console equipped with a 500 GB hard drive, a matching red controller, God of War: Ascension and the God of War Saga, a bundle of the five previous God of War games.
So with the PS4 already announced, why would now be the time to invest in the PS3? Well, for starters, if you ever want to go back and play PlayStation 3 games, you're going to need a PS3 console regardless since the PS4 will not be backwards compatible. Not to mention, we still have The Last of Us, a PS3 exclusive that has not yet been announced for the PS4. Judging from early previews, you're going to want to play this one.
