This is one of those things I’ve wanted in League of Legends for as long as I’ve been playing – the ability to buy and gift other players RP, champions, and skins. I have definitely bought Riot Cards for friends in the past as presents. This new system just makes everything that much easier by cutting out the middle man. For my hardcore LoL friends, RP is always a welcomed gift.
To do this in game, simple click on the “Gifting Center” in the store. Once there, choose the sort of gift you’d like to buy: RP, champions, or skins. Then you choose your friend. It’s that easy. The next time that friend logs in they will have received your gift. You can also send a personal message with the gift to show the love.
There are a few limitations, I’ll list them below:
- No re-gifting things you already own
- You can only send gifts to players you’ve been friends with at the start of December
- You must be at least level 20 to send a gift
- You must be at least level 10 to receive a gift
- You can only receive or send 3 gifts a day
Those seem fair; so other than a few restriction, tis the season to be sharing. This holiday season, give the gift of DRAVEN.
