Rocket Fox comic debuts on Namco Bandai’s ShiftyLook

Recently Namco Bandai launched a line of webcomics reviving several of its retro titles. "Rocket Fox" is the most recent addition, a completely new series written by Stacy King and illustrated by Shane Law.

The comic launched today on ShiftyLook (@ShiftyLook on Twitter), along with an accompanying blog post that introduces the web series and the upcoming game:

Rocket Fox is actually brand spankin’ new, a launching-soon title for mobile platforms created by Namco Bandai Games America.

So what’s it about? Rocket Fox takes the Japanese myths about kitsune, mystical fox spirits with great power and mischievous ways, and injects a fun, playful twist with the addition of Flowerockets. These magical flowers shoot out fireworks and Foxfire, the mystical energy that keeps the kitsune alive. They also launch the fox that triggers them high into the air!

Read more about Rocket Fox's background and characters at the comic's website.
