The cars-meet-soccer game developed by indie studio Psyonix has been going completely off the chain for the past 7 months bringing more than 9 million players to the game.
Rocket League released digitally on Xbox One just last month, landing the game its third platform and it was pretty obvious that Xbox One players were chopping at the bit for the game. The official twitter account for Rocket League just announced that Xbox One has surpassed 1 million unique players, check out the tweet below:
YES! We have officially eclipsed more than 1 MILLION unique players on @Xbox One! Thank you very much for continuing to support us!

Psyonix rolled out a suite of DLC such as the Halo Warthog and Dawn of Justice Batmobile vehicles while also announcing the Rocket League Championship. RLC is expected to launch later this month, with gamers given the opportunity to register in teams of three for the chance to compete on the big stage.
Rocket League is available to download across all three platforms, PS4, Xbox One and PC. A retail version is coming later this year as well.
