As time goes by, more and more games are joining the PS4 Pro Patch parade. Next week Psyonix's intense battle car soccer game, Rocket League will be joining the ranks, as it was announced today over on the PlayStation Blog that the game will be getting Pro support in its next update. On top of that, standard PS4's will be able to run the game at 1080p, 60 FPS in every arena for both single and two-player split screen play. Three and four player split screen modes will be able to do the same in most, but not all of the game's arenas as well.
Rocket League has big plans for 2017 that include the addition of Hot Wheels cars to the game as well as a physical toy line in partnership with Zag Toys. Rocket League was also the most downloaded PS4 game of 2016 which was a significant contributing factor in seeing the game reach over 1 billion matches played.
