Rockstar to reveal new projects “soon”

Take-Two reported its financial results for the first fiscal quarter of 2017 yesterday and hidden in the money talk was a tease for Rockstar's upcoming projects. While we have seen plenty of rumors on GTA 6 and a follow-up to the Red Dead series, Rockstar hasn't given us the satisfaction of confirming anything.

Rockstar might be keeping quite, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick isn't afraid of teasing us with what is coming:

“Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.”

It's unclear what those projects are, but there are a few things we do know for sure.

GTA Online has been making Rockstar Games a ton of money since Grand Theft Auto 5 originally released in 2013 and it's still going strong. While Take-Two didn't mention how much money GTA Online brought in, but they did say that it had record bookings.

Unfortunately, GTA Online won't be supported forever and once the Rockstar team moves on, so will GTA Online. Zelnick has made it clear that the GTA franchise will need to "rest" at some point.
