Lead system architect Mark Cerny took stage at GamesCom 2013 during the Sony press conference to talk some PlayStation 4. After talking about how powerful the system is and how great it is for developers, gamers and indie teams, saying, "We believe a renaissance of gaming is coming on PlayStation 4."
Then Shahid Ahmad came on stage to talk indies. Specifically: Rogue Legacy.
Rogue Legacy will make its console exclusive debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita later next year. That's not all; Edmund McMillen from Team Meat is releasing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth next spring for the PS4 and Vita, and as a free game for PS Plus users.
Also, everyone's favorite ninja-jumping game, N++, is coming exclusively to the PS4 this winter.

So there you have it: a ton of indie support on the PS4 and Vita.
