Rosalina also coming to Mario Kart 8, as are ‘baby’ Nintendo characters

Rosalina isn't just a new fighter in Super Smash Bros., as the Super Mario Galaxy character was also revealed as a playable racer in Mario Kart 8.

Rosalina was shown off in a new trailer during today's Nintendo Direct, which also revealed that you'll be able to race as various "Baby" Nintendo characters, like Baby Mario and Baby Luigi.

The trailer also showed off new course settings including an airport, the desert and high in the clouds, as well as new vehicles like UFOs, four-wheel ATV buggies, standard karts and bikes. Unfortunately, there's still no release date.
