If Warner Bros. really is releasing a next Batman Arkham game — and Time Warner's CFO already told us they are — then we can expect a reveal at, or around, E3 2013. The latest rumor comes from French site Gameblog, which claims the next installment in the Arkham series will be called Batman: Arkham Origins.
The game, according to unnamed industry sources, will be a prequel inspired by the Silver Age of comics. It will allegedly feature a number of Justice League members such as Superman and Green Lantern.
Rumor has it Arkham Origins will be a next-gen game, releasing on PS4 and the currently unannounced next Xbox in Q3 2013; although, it is possible it could be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. According to GAF members, Gameblog.fr's track record with rumors is "hit and miss," so take what they say with a grain of salt.
