It looks as though Gearbox will be following in the footsteps of developers like Rockstar (GTA V), Naughty Dog (The Last of Us: Remastered) and Square Enix (Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition) by bringing a remastered version Borderlands to the newest consoles.
Both the developer (Gearbox) and publisher (2K) have yet to make any official announcements on the remastering of Borderlands for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (and likely the PC), a listing on the Australian Classification Board seems to have outed their plans.
In October we saw the release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on last-gen consoles, in fact a year before The Pre-Sequels release we a Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition release. The GotY version comes with all of the DLC, we can only hope that the remastered version will contain Borderlands 1, 2 and The Pre-Sequel.

What will the remastered version of Borderlands have to contain for you to buy it on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC?
