It looks like pre-ordering Dark Souls 3 on your Xbox One will bring you more than one opportunity to throw your controller until it breaks. The Australian Xbox Store page for Dark Souls 3 was recently updated to include a paragraph that revealed pre-orders for the game would include the original Xbox 360 version of Dark Souls.
An eagle-eyed Reddit (via VideoGamer) user spotted the update to the Xbox Store page prior to the page being taken down. According to the first paragraph in the Australian Xbox Store page for Dark Souls 3, download codes for the original Dark Souls would be delivered to customers that pre-ordered the upcoming game within 7-10 days of purchasing.
Without knowing when the pre-order incentive will be made available, it's hard to say when Dark Souls will be up for download on the Xbox One. Chances are, the game will be backwards compatible well before Dark Souls 3 releases on March 24, 2016.
