Just five days ago, Nintendo upped the ante on their third-party support by announcing that Bethesda was bringing both DOOM and Wolfenstein 2 ports to the Nintendo Switch. While the latter is due to release next year, DOOM was said to be coming in "Holiday 2017," which is being corroborated by the Czech retailer, Kuma.cz.
December 13th, 2017 is the date being floated around by Kuma, although since it not confirmed by Bethesda or Nintendo, we have to take it with a grain of salt for the moment. Here's a screenshot of the store page:
The date certainly fits in line with the "Holiday 2017" release window, so it wouldn't be surprising if the date is spot on, if not very close to the final one. It's worth noting, however, that because this is a European retailer, the date may not be the same for players in the US, but for now, all we can do it wait.
Fortunately, it shouldn't be a long wait.
