A confidential video has leaked onto the internet showing off original PlayStation game, MediEvil. Only the video isn't the original game, it's a brand new version and it's probably on the PlayStation 4. Every time the video is uploaded onto YouTube it vanishes, making it seem like there's a real MediEvil revival on the way.
Back in 2003 a mysterious internet user named "Blue Eyes" leaked Shadow of the Colossus well ahead of its reveal. 12 years later, and it looks like Blue Eyes is at it again.
Blue Eyes has revealed several images teasing that we will be seeing the "return of an old friend" at E3 this year.
There's no official word on a MediEvil revival, but the video that was leaked certainly looked real. The video clip showed off the walk-cycle for the game's protagonist (the skeletal knight, Sir Daniel Fortesque) and it was a definite call back to the original style of the game.
Sony could be pushing a revival of lost IP's. Similarly, Square Enix has made a push to resurrect lost titles with the help from their community – this could be Sony's version of resurrection.
Of course, there's no stopping this from being a fan project – we have hopes and dreams that can't be killed, just like our Fallout 4 dreams.
Shhh, secretly watch the leaked video here.
