While Stan Lee wishes for the Fantastic Four and X-Men film rights to head back to Marvel, Fox has decided to take Fantastic Four on yet another journey. It appears as though Fox wants to take a different approach to Fantastic Four this time around and make it more 'kid-centric.'
A report from Bleeding Cool has claimed that Fox is looking to move away from the classic Fantastic Four team to create a more kid-friendly version of the team. It is being suggested that the upcoming Fantastic Four team will focus on Franklin and Valeria, the children of Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic) and Susan Storm (Invisible Woman) – the whole Valaria storyline is kind of confusing and it wasn't detailed how it will be approached. While it will focus on the children, both the Human Torch and The Thing will still be a part of the team.
The co-author of the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies novel is said to be working on a script for the upcoming Fantastic Four, after having doctored up the 2015 Fantastic Four film and dropping out as director on DC's The Flash.
