A premature listing of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Digital Deluxe Edition on the Brazilian PlayStation Store revealed that the fan-favorite multiplayer map Nuketown could be making a return.
According to the now-removed listing, anyone who pre-orders the Black Ops 3 Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the bonus NUK3TOWN map. The name, which plays off the whole Black Ops 3 title, also suggests the map has been updated for the game's new chain-based movement system.
The Google translated description reads: "Get the bonus NUK3TOWN map. This map, which is among the fan favorites, was completely redesigned to highlight the new chained motion system based on momentum of Treyarch, providing battles full of adrenaline."
This is the first we've heard of Nuketown coming to Black Ops 3, though Treyarch Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar did previously suggest that the map could be making a comeback. That was months ago though, and since then the only officially announced map being remade comes with the Deluxe Edition (and Hardened Edition). It's "The Giant," a revamped version of Treyarch's classic Zombies map, Der Riese. The only actual pre-order bonus mentioned for Black Ops 3 was access to the multiplayer beta which just wrapped up on PS4 and is currently underway on Xbox One and PC.
