The long awaited Pokémon GO might release THIS summer! A job listing at developer Niantics suggests that the augmented reality Pokémon game will be coming out the summer of 2016.
The position is for a Product Marketing Manager, whose job is to handle the email marketing on a short term contract, and in the details it says that the position will be available between the months of June and September 2016 and that the job will go on "all the way through launch". This suggests that the launch of a Niantics title will happen some time during the summer of 2016, and that title will probably be Pokémon GO.
"Candidate will manage the email marketing process for several products, beginning from copy creation and editing, all the way through launch, as well as measuring analytics and optimizing performance."
Niantics has not made a statement on when a release will happen but according to their jobs page something is due for release this summer.
