We are all craving a new Red Dead game and there is no shortage of leaks and rumors to make our craving even stronger. You may have thought with only 2 days before E3 that the internet would’ve already dug to the deepest, darkest corners to find anything related to the wild west franchise. You thought wrong.
Some users on the fan run GTA Forums have found the profile of an ex-Rockstar employee on an art website. The artist has some beautiful concept art for what could be a Red Dead title or just a personal project.
The artist in question worked on GTA V for some time and eventually left to go work at Crytek. It’s unclear if she worked on anything other than GTA V while she was with Rockstar, but if she did work on something else, this art more than likely indicates that work was done on a new Red Dead.
The actual art could indicate a few things about the plot of the game. One being multiple playable characters similar to Grand Theft Auto V. The artwork prominently features two characters, one being the standard cowboy we have seen in previous Red Dead titles and the other being a Native American character. We could see these two characters face off against each other because of their cultural differences and the plot could be centered around a war between a gang of cowboys and girls and Native Americans. The multiple character feature would allow you to see both sides of the war and create conflicting feelings for the player, similar to how many viewers felt when watching the recent film Captain America: Civil War.
Of course, this is all speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt. Regardless if this is related to Red Dead or not, this is some beautiful art! There are a plethora of other images for you to view on her profile.
Stay tuned to GameZone all week for our E3 coverage. Who knows, maybe a new Red Dead will be announced!
