According to a new rumor Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be getting a piece of DLC that won't require the main game. As with all things on the internet, take the rumor with a grain of salt.
An insider source at Sony has revealed that Naughty Dog is planning to release a standalone DLC for Uncharted 4 that will focus on Nathan Drake's brother, Samuel. The standalone DLC will not require players to own the original DLC and will tell its own story, segued by Nathan Drake himself – but will not feature his daughter.
The source went on to say that the DLC will be longer than The Last of Us' 'Left Behind' DLC. While the insider did not reveal the DLC's title, they did suggest that the game would be revealed and playable at the PlayStation Experience in December. It was also suggested that the DLC would release sometime before March in 2017.
The report comes from George Johnson, who recently launched a site called Jaffameister. This site is home to one news article, the Uncharted 4 DLC rumor bit. We will have to wait until later in December to see how this rumor holds up.
