Last month, Jagex Game Studios launched the third iteration of RuneScape, its massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Now the first quest content is underway.
The Death of Chivalry features Sir Owen, a key figure in RuneScape lore who sets out to recover a powerful artifact for the god Saradomin. Players join him in infiltrating Black Knight Castle.
Difficulty scales to match the player's level. Post-quest rewards include a full cosmetic armor override set and Prayer and Combat XP.
The fantasy MMORPG is free to play. It first launched in 2001, and more than 200 million accounts have been created since (about 10 million are active).
