Reality Pump Studios is preparing a game for TopWare Interactive called Sacrilegium — a survival horror game with modern vampires known as the Moroi, so fierce they could "eat a vampire for breakfast."
The story focuses on Alex, a 20-year-old college student from California who happens to know martial arts. She relocates from San Francisco to Europe and enters the titular province of Sacrilegium.
The game uses the new Grace 2 engine, a follow-up to what Reality Pump worked with when developing Two Worlds II.
Players can expect "hours of cinematic horror" and performances from "top-level stage professionals."
The PC version will support 3D Eye-Tracking — technology branded by Reality Pump that follows the movement of the user's head to shift the viewpoint in-game.
"After all the years that we've dealt with the appearance of medieval stories, it was time to pool the experience acquired and integrate that into a modern action adventure," said studio head Miroslaw Dymek. "We've definitely achieved that with Sacrilegium."
Sacrilegium is planned for release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
