Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell announced

As expected, Deep Silver Volition announced a new Saints Row game. Well, actually it's a standalone expansion of Saints Row 4, but still just as awesome. Anyway, the new game is called Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and, just as it sounds, you'll be taking on the role of Johnny Gat (or Kinzie Kensington, because gender equality).

When the leader of the Saints gets sucked into the pits of hell, it's up to Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington to go after him on a rescue mission where you'll face demons, the horrors of the underworld (including prominent historical figures) and, of course, the Devil. Deep Silver Volition promises "old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full length musical number, and a whole lot of other shenanigans" await you when you open the Gat Out of Hell. Here's a trailer to give you a taste of the craziness.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is due out on January 27, 2015 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Deep Silver Volition also announced today that Saints Row 4 will be making the leap to next-gen as well, releasing the same day.
