Today, developers of The Dishwasher, Ska Studios, dropped Salt and Sactuary on the PlayStation Store for the PS4. The game has been described by the developers as Dark Souls reimagined in Ska Studios' signature "2D hand-drawn action style."
PlayStation 4 owners have been patiently awaiting the game since its reveal in late August of 2014. Initially, the game had been detailed to release in 2015 on both the PS4 and Vita, however the PS4 never saw the game's release.
Ska Studios wants to take players on a journey where they find themselves " rising out of despair to overcome impossible odds" by taking the role of a humble, yet-to-be hero, who has been shipwrecked on an uncharted island.
Salt and Sanctuary is out now on PS4 and will set you back $17.99.
