Ready for a Call of Duty experience "built from the ground up" for iOS devices? Activision released a new Call of Duty game for iPad and iPhone this morning called Call of Duty: Strike Team.
In Strike Team, players are the leader for a U.S. Joint Special Operations Team in the year 2020. After finding themselves in the middle of a war with an unknown enemy, you are tasked with saving the country. Isn't that the plot for every Call of Duty game? There are two views that the game switches between — the classic first-person shooter view and a top-down view for "reconnaissance and coordinated squad attacks," adding a nice level of strategy.
Strike Team has a single-player campaign, as well as a survival mode where players compete in online leaderboards. It's your typical survival mode, where you fight off waves of enemies until you die.
Call of Duty: Strike Team is currently available for $6.99 and is a 1.31 GB download. it is compatible with iPhone 4S and higher, iPad mini, iPad 2, iPad third generation and higher, fifth generation iPod touch, and it requires iOS 6.0 or later to run.
