Say goodbye to digital comics on the PSP

The digital Comic Store for PlayStation Portable is shutting down after October 30.

A notice on the PlayStation website reads, "After this date, users will be unable to purchase comic content from the PS Store’s Comic Store. Where licenses permit, previously purchased or downloaded content will still be available for download until mid-January  2013. After this date, users will no longer be unable to redownload any previously purchased content. You can, however, back up your content using Media Go."

The announcement also mentions that Sony stopped providing new content to the store last year so it could bring the service to other devices. "Our focus now is to bring more  digital entertainment services to our products," the post reads.
