Scott Pilgrim DLC is coming despite long delays

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game came out way back in fall 2010, but creator Bryan O'Malley is still promising that the long-awaited downloadable content is coming.

The comics artist/writer posted this message on Twitter: "There’s a rumor going around that the Scott Pilgrim video game DLC from Ubisoft has been cancelled [sic]. Status: FALSE."

Ubisoft has pushed back the DLC's release more than once. It's supposed to add online multiplayer and the playable character Wallace Wells, who's Scott's roommate.

These would be great additions to the game, but I have to wonder whether fans have moved on or if gamers would happily flock back to the 8-bit-style title.
