Scourge: Outbreak coming to XBLA, PSN, and Mac

Tragnarion Studios is developing a new third-person shooter for XBLA, PSN, and Mac called Scourge: Outbreak.

The game focuses on the Echo Squad, a band of mercenaries opposing the evil Nogari Corporation. First, players must rescue your employer's double-agent, Dr. Reisbeck, from inside headquarters, and then recover a piece of meteorite that Nogari has used to develop a new energy source, one which would allow them to take over the world.

Each of the four playable characters possesses his own abilities and weapons and unlocks a unique set of flashback sequences as you progress.

Multiplayer includes modes such as eight-player deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture-the-flag across five different maps. The co-op campaign contains over six hours of gameplay and supports up to four players.

Scourge: Outbreak is set to release later this year.
