SDCC 2013: An ‘Incredibles’ Disney Infinity trailer

Disney Interactive released a new trailer today giving us a look at the Incredibles Play Set in the upcoming game Disney Infinity. The Incredibles Play Set is one of the three that will be available in the Disney Infinity starter pack for $75; Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean will also be included.

But today, the focus is on the Incredibles which will include a normal Play Set and Toy Box mode. Although the physical toy is of Mr. Incredible, you'll be able to play as any of the "Super Family," including Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Dash, and Violet as they combat Syndrome and his evil minions in Metroville.

Outside of the Incredibles Play Set (think of it as a unique world with its own specialized gameplay mechanics and pieces), you'll be able to take the cast of characters into the game's Toy Box, the place where you can combine the vast array of Disney and Pixar characters from movies into one customized world limited only by your imagination.

Disney Infinity will be available on August 18 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, and PC, as well as an accompanying mobile experience.
