Sega hints at new “classic” game announcement

Sega is giving fans something to think about as it drops a clue on its Facebook page regarding a new game announcement that's coming soon.

The tease reads "If you're a fan of the classics, you'll definitely want to tune in tomorrow for our new game announcement."

No other clues were given, but if you let your imagination run wild, this could mean many things. The easy guess would be that it's a new Sonic game, but considering the company recently announced a new character for its Sonic mobile game, chances are it's something else.

Personally, I hope it's a new Shinobi, Streets of Rage, Phantasy Star, Golden Axe, or (dare I say it) Altered Beast.

But trust me, I'm not picky.
