A listing for a new Sonic game on Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U is "incorrect," according to SEGA. Responding to the rumor which stemmed from a supposed leaked product sheet at last week's Nuremberg Toy Fair, the publisher said it was "yet to announce details" of a new Sonic game.
"Sega is yet to announce details of upcoming console video games for Sonic the Hedgehog or further details regarding the new Sonic CG TV series," a spokesperson told GameZone. "The recent information coming out of Nuremburg Toy Fair was incorrect.

SEGA is currently in the middle of a three-game partnership with Nintendo which has so far seen Sonic: Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games: Sochi 2014 released on Nintendo platforms. Surprisingly, there was no mention of the third Nintendo-exclusive title on the product sheet.
