SEGA teases western release for Valkyria Chronicles Remaster

SEGA's been on a role with the surprise announcements. On Thursday, the company unveiled the SEGA 3D Classics Collection, a bundle of classic titles releasing for Nintendo 3DS (including two which have never released outside of Japan). But that's not all the company has up its sleeves.

Taking to Twitter, SEGA posted a jumbled photo that when unscrambled forms the Principality of Gallia's Experimental Tank Edelweiss from Valkyria Chronicles. The tweet reads: "Happy Friday! Here's a puzle for you to solve. Can you guess what it is? Answer will be revealed on Monday."

While we'll have to wait for Monday for the announcement, we're pretty sure we already know the answer — Valkyria Chronicles Remaster for PS4 is being localized for the west.

Valkyria Chronciles Remaster is due out for PS4 in Japan on February 10th; however, SEGA of Europe previously teased a western release for the game in its "PC Gamer Weekender 2016" video in which SEGA's Dan Sheridan said, “A trailer for Valkyria Chronicles Remaster on PlayStation 4 was recently released. But what does this mean for us? Will we see it in the west? Tune in next week to find out more. Ha ha ha!”
