Serious Sam Double D XXL launch trailer has a lot of guns, gore, and guitars

Serious Sam Double D XXL has launched, and it's a hell of a game. Seriously, if you dig action titles and have a penchant for crazy-ass weapons, play this game.

To commemorate the release of Double D XXL on Xbox Live Arcade, a launch trailer found its way on the good ol' internet. If you needed a bit of convincing to play this 2D shooter, the final launch trailer may be what you were looking for.

As expected from a trailer for a Serious Sam game, you've got alien creatures getting blasted in the eye, pools of blood, and loud guitar music. No, it's nothing like Hideo Kojima's trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but that's not a bad thing. I think the Serious Sam folks found something that worked quite well for this game.
