Serious Sam is Seriously on Sale on XBLA

Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter have been included in Microsoft’s retro shooter-themed Deal of the Week promotion on Xbox Live, which runs from February 7-13. Normally offered at $15 a piece, both titles are currently slashed 66 percent to $5 each.

A spokesperson for the game says, “Developed by Croteam and powered by the Serious Engine 3, both titles are reminiscent of the golden age of first person shooters and feature intense frantic gameplay with non-stop action, reminding players why they got into gaming in the first place, to blow stuff up!”

Hail to the king, baby! Oh wait, wrong game…
