Shoot Many Robots hits PSN tomorrow

Demiurge Studios' first original intellectual property is going public tomorrow. The company has contributed to many games in the past, handling the art and level design for the opening sequences of Bioshock, for instance. Now the developer and publisher Ubisoft are readying Shoot Many Robots for release tomorrow on PSN and one day later on XBLA.

Shoot Many Robots stars a hillbilly named "Pickles" Walter Tugnut, who's been stocking up on guns, ammo, and beer for the inevitable robot apocalypse. The downloadable title offers up to four-player co-op, introducing waves of mechanical enemies like Choppers, Tankbots, and Fatboys.

The title is also scheduled for release on PC.
