Shovel Knight has slid into a winter launch window, announced developer Yacht Club Games.
The Kickstarted game, which surpassed its $75,000 crowdfunding goal by raising over $300,000, was supposed to debut in September. It's due for PC and Steam, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U and will come to Mac and Linux later on.
This could mean a release in time for the holidays or a month or so into 2014.
Shovel Knight is a throwback to 8-bit games. It hit all 12 of its stretch goals.
