The Ghostbusters reboot is getting pretty crowded. Not only is there an entirely new cast of characters for the reboot, but a bunch of actors from the previous films are in it. So far, the new crew is a female heavy cast with Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth (as the receptionist).
As far a reprises go, Annie Potts – the original secretary, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Bill Murray are all going to make a cameo in the film, but that's not all –we can officially add Sigourney Weaver to the list. In the past, Weaver had expressed that she wanted to be in the reboot and she got her wish!
In case you needed a reminder, Weaver was in the first and second Ghostbusters – you might recall her as Zuul or as Dana.
Director Paul Feig made the reveal that Weaver had joined the film's cast through Twitter, citing that the only reason he made the reveal was because it was about to leak.
This leaves Rick Moranis out, although, he hasn't done much in film or TV a long while.
