SkullCandy PLYR 1 wireless gaming headset now available

Hi. My name is Lance Liebl, and I'm a gaming peripheral junkie. As someone always looking for a bigger and better gaming headset, Skullcandy might have caught my attention.

Skullcandy announced today that the Skullcandy PLYR 1 Wireless Gaming Headset is now available exclusively at Best Buy stores and Best Buy online. Developed in conjunction with ASTRO Gaming, the PLYR 1 is compatible with Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Mac and PC for $179.99.

Features include:

  • 2.4Ghz wireless technology for improved performance and reliability
  • Skullcandy's proprietary Supreme Sound technology delivering more precise highs and deeper lows
  • GMX Stereo Transmitter allowing for the custom balancing of Game and Voice sound
  • Adjustable boom mic with an easy-to-use flip-up mute mode
  • Three distinct EQ3 Sound Modes — Bass Mode, Supreme Mode and Precision Mode — designed to specifically enhance many genres of games, movie and music

In addition to the availibility through Best Buy, the Skullcandy PLYR 1 will be available through Skullcandy's website in early June.
