Skulls of the Shogun receives a price cut

The Microsoft-centric game Skulls of the Shogun is getting a price drop on almost all platforms.

The asynchronous strategy title from indie developer 17-Bit arrived on Xbox Live Arcade, Windows 8, Microsoft Surface, and Windows Phone on January 30. Now it's available at a lower cost on all of those except for Windows Phone, which remains at $4.99 in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

The XBLA version now costs 800 Microsoft Points ($10), down from its previous 1,200 MP. The PC and Microsoft Surface versions are now going for $6.99 in the Microsoft Store.

We gave the game a 9/10 in our review and called it "a title that can offer exceptional gameplay that’ll last you hours upon hours."
