The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has receiving numerous awards since its release back in November 2011. If the countless Game of the Year awards haven't yet convinced you to purchase this massive RPG, perhaps Amazon's $20 discount might persuade you.
Available as part of Amazon's Deal of the Day, fans can purchase The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Xbox 360 or PS3 for only $39.99 – a savings of $20 or 33%.
As of right now the game is available at a discount on both consoles, but with all Amazon promotions, quantities are limited, so the price is only available while supplies last.
After some early bugs, including lag plaguing the PS3 version, it looks like Bethesda has finally solved the majority of game-breaking bugs with their latest 1.4 patch.
To call Skyrim a success would be an understatement. Exceeding expectations, Skyrim has outsold all Xbox 360 exclusive titles in 2011 in North America, Bethesda revealed in a press release last month. In addition, it has also outsold all PlayStation 3 exclusive titles on that platform as well. This includes strong titles like Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Killzone 3, and inFAMOUS 2.
