Smudged Cat releasing Gateways on Steam this September

Indie developer Smudged Cat Games launched Gateways for PC back in June. The game featured 2D puzzle platforming gameplay with Portal-like elements, and it successfully managed to deliver a delightful and challenging experience.

Smudged Cat stated that it had Xbox Live Indie Games and Steam versions of Gateways planned, though no release dates were announced at the time. That's no longer the case as far as the Steam version is concerned because the developer has officially announced via Twitter that Gateways will hit Steam on September 13.

You can still buy the game on Smudged Cat's official site for $10, and if you do, the dev has stated that players will get a free Steam key to download that version of the game once it launches. That's mighty generous of Smudged Cat! Mighty generous and mighty awesome!
