You can now cancel preorders on Steam without contacting Valve … which seems like a feature that should have been implemented ages ago.
Steam users can now click "refund an item" to nix any preorders they perhaps too hastily made.
Valve has yet to clarify whether that money will return to your bank account (or wherever you pulled it from) or if it'll go straight to your Steam wallet.
The first option is clearly more convenient — that way you can spend your cash on other, non-Steam things — but face it: You're just going to blow it all on the next sale, anyway.
