So who exactly is the developer of the Call of Duty game on the Vita?

The world got its first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified for the Vita at Sony's Press Conference. What can we say about the trailer? Well it sure looked like a Call of Duty game….on the Vita. So that's that. But who is making it?

It appears that Nihilistic Software, AKA the people behind the first FPS on the Vita, Resistance: Burning Skies, are responsible for the Vita version of CoDBLOPS. Why the long face? While we gave the game a fairly decent score, it didn't fare so well with other critics. Nihilistic is also responsible for the very mediocre PlayStation Move Heroes as well as the God of War knock off, Conan. Not to mention, they also worked on StarCraft: Ghost… look how that turned out.

Listen I'm not here to scare you, though I realize I effectively might have. The trailer proved that you'll be getting exactly what you asked for, CoD on the Vita, so let's have some faith in Nihilistic, maybe this is the game where they prove us all wrong.
