Some lucky My Nintendo members will have the chance to test drive a Nintendo Switch early

The Nintendo Switch amazingly is not that far off, but in case you're getting the itch to try the new console, you might want to make sure you are part of the My Nintendo program. The company is apparently offering select members of the program an opportunity to try out the Nintendo Switch ahead of the console's launch. An email invite is currently going around and reads like the following:

"To thank you for being a loyal fan, we’d like to offer you a chance to try the Nintendo Switch system before it’s released. Look for an email from Eventbrite for the full details and be sure to register right away to save your spot (availability of tickets are on a first come, first served basis)."

The email isn't clear as to whether or not it's referring to the press event that is supposed to take place next month, but it would seem to be a fairly reasonable assumption. That said, availability is likely to be incredibly limited, so I wouldn't hold out any hope for being one of the lucky few that gets an invite.

The Nintendo Switch releases in March, though it's exact date is still unknown.
